Californians will have to start paying sales tax on their purchases from Amazon.com starting Friday after Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation earlier this week requiring online retailers to collect the tax.

Been a long time Amazon shopper – love it when FedEx comes with purchases I save a bundle on – free shipping means no gas and best prices. I see by comments the jury is out – some people will stop buying from Amazon, others applaud and support the fight to repeal the law. What’s your stand? Other states are watching CA and TX on this.
