From our walk with Max today, on a very short trail along side a school. Just a few shots here – and on our front deck. A few struggling tomatoes just hanging on, and our Christmas tree.
Last time we were here, a few miles from the condo, a group of children and teachers were here. I was told that there were a few macadamia trees here. Today, we found what we think are the nuts, but they have light blue shells and don’t look like what I have seen in any image on-line file. There were many shells cracked open on the ground, not sure if the ones we picked off the tree were safe to eat.
We saw an old horse just standing in its stall, so far away I wasn’t sure I could capture the animal.
We are very fortunate to live where unexpected sites show up right near housing and schools – always finding something close to home we’ve missed.
